About This Webinar:


Dreaming of being accepted into Columbia University and joining the Ivy League Universities world? Are you eager to become a successful Entrepreneur?

Crimson is excited to announce a partnership with the Columbia University Alumni Association. The partnership entails a series of monthly webinars on topics related to Columbia University - admissions, networking, essays, academics, case studies and more!

The series will end with a quiz, where participants will be tested on details covered at each of the webinars. The winner will receive an internship with the Columbia University Alumni Association of the UAE, as well as credit to use on Crimson services!

Soraya Beheshti
Managing Director
Crimson Education, Middle East, Africa and Turkey

Soraya went to Columbia University from Dubai College and used Crimson Education to help gain admissions + scholarship. She self-studied 2 A-Levels. She founded Karvan, a fin-tech non-profit building innovative blockchain technology to improve the lives of refugees around the world that was recently matriculated from IBM’s Blockchain Accelerator in NYC


Shereen Abdulla
Entrepreneur
United Arab Emirates

Shereen is really, really passionate about making awesome content. These days, she produces original mutli-media content, as well as provides content-as-a-service to some pretty cool companies, out of her independent studio in Dubai.
Her subject matter expertise lies in business entrepreneurship and FinTech innovation, having spent more than 12 years in the financial industry in the Middle East.
Shereen has extensive experience fostering startup ecosystems and empowering entrepreneurship education, having managed multiple accelerator cohorts for the Middle East’s largest FinTech accelerator, where she also consulted financial services and government entities on corporate innovation. Shereen is also a former banker and management consultant, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics and an Executive MSc in Technology Management from Columbia University.
