Virtual Career Fair for Years 10, 11 and 12 Students!

An exclusive Crimson Education webinar on Saturday 10th April 10am to 4:30pm (UK time)

Four key reasons for choosing the US
Flexible curriculum

The liberal arts curriculum allows students to take classes in multiple fields of study and they don't need to choose their major until their second year ensuring more decision time.

Graduate salaries

Salaries for US university graduates tend to be much higher than those in the UK. For example, Princeton graduates earn an average of $90,700 (£66,490) whereas the average salary of an Oxford Business graduate is £41,500.

Extracurricular opportunities

US universities have thousands of societies and clubs for students to be a part of and enrich their college experience. Many universities compete in national and international sporting competitions like the Olympics. For example, Stanford has won 270 Olympic medals!

Faculty exposure

Most top US universities have a strong undergraduate focus and therefore students get 1-1 time with their professors that in the UK are reserved for post-graduate students.

Why Are Crimson

Whilst it can feel overwhelming to think about the future, now is a great time to start thinking about careers and the university pathways which can get you there.

With so many options to choose from, how do you know which industry is for you? Well, one of the best ways to find out is from successful people who are out there in the world of work now. This is why we've invited five inspiring speakers from five popular industries - finance, entrepreneurship, international relations, music and engineering -  to talk about their journey from university to where they are today.

Whether you're interested in making big money as an entrepreneur or want to follow your dream into international relations or music, all of our speakers have useful insights to share. Adison will show you the importance of following your creative calling, Tim will explore the importance of hustle and Jamie will express the importance of entrepreneurial spirit.

“My essay mentor Alan was amazing. Prior to me actually choosing potential topics and writing them down, Alan had loads of meetings with me online, where we discussed all my extracurriculars, life experience and a never-ending stream of other topics before deciding what my essays should be."
