Year 7 & 8 Special

An Exclusive Crimson Education Webinar

Four key reasons for choosing the US
Flexible curriculum

The liberal arts curriculum allows students to take classes in multiple fields of study and they don't need to choose their major until their second year ensuring more decision time.

Graduate salaries

Salaries for US university graduates tend to be much higher than those in the UK. For example, Princeton graduates earn an average of $90,700 (£66,490) whereas the average salary of an Oxford Business graduate is £41,500.

Extracurricular opportunities

US universities have thousands of societies and clubs for students to be a part of and enrich their college experience. Many universities compete in national and international sporting competitions like the Olympics. For example, Stanford has won 270 Olympic medals!

Faculty exposure

Most top US universities have a strong undergraduate focus and therefore students get 1-1 time with their professors that in the UK are reserved for post-graduate students.

It's never too early to invest in your child's future!

As a parent, there is one common goal in mind; to set your child up for success in the future and the earlier you start the easier it becomes! We see many of our students start as early as 11 years old because the skills developed at this age prepare a student for optimal academic and extracurricular performance in secondary school. This is crucial if they want to maximise their time in the 4 years leading to university applications - especially given the US & UK’s increasingly competitive climate.

Fundamental skills such as time management, study habits and interest exploration are imperative when building a strong foundation. If a student wants to maximise their time spent in secondary school doing truly impactful activities, it’s crucial that they gain exposure and test their interests early, while practising skills like teamwork and leadership to use when they matter. It's also just as important to promote independence, this is the age where a student's experiences solidify their psychology, setting the stage for executive functioning into early adulthood.

In this webinar, we will be introducing you to Crimson Rise and how you can help your child pave the way for a successful future.

“My essay mentor Alan was amazing. Prior to me actually choosing potential topics and writing them down, Alan had loads of meetings with me online, where we discussed all my extracurriculars, life experience and a never-ending stream of other topics before deciding what my essays should be."
