In Conversation with Ed Baker, ex VP of Growth at Facebook & Uber

An Exclusive Crimson Education Webinar
Tuesday 18th May, 6:30pm to 8:00pm (UK time)

Lessons in performance from an Ivy League graduate and serial entrepreneur

Ed Baker is a Harvard and Stanford graduate and elite triathlete who has received global recognition as an Entrepreneur and Growth Specialist. He
co-founded his first company DateSite.com whilst he was an undergraduate, which kickstarted a life-long passion for entrepreneurship.

His second company, Friend.ly, grew to over 25 million users before being acquired by Facebook. Ed then rose up to become the Head of International Growth at Facebook (where he pushed user numbers past the one billion mark) and VP of Product and Growth at Uber. He is now an angel investor and advisor to a wide range of startups, including change.org, Lime and us, Crimson Education!

We are thrilled to be welcoming Ed to the UK stage in this exclusive webinar. He will be sharing his experience of attending an Ivy League university, how this has impacted his career success and shaped his entrepreneurial journey. If you or your child aspires to attend a US university, don't miss this opportunity to learn more about the value of a college education and how to maintain high levels of performance over time.

“My essay mentor Alan was amazing. Prior to me actually choosing potential topics and writing them down, Alan had loads of meetings with me online, where we discussed all my extracurriculars, life experience and a never-ending stream of other topics before deciding what my essays should be."
